Recent Work on Canvas and Metal
Currently living and working in Richmond, Virginia,
artists Eleanor Hughes and Curtis Bowman return to St. Augustine, their longtime
home. The show includes Hughes continued metaphorical exploration of lotus
that started at Beluthahatchee in 2009. Bowmans work features non-objective
musings on connections to his maritime explorations, utilizing boatyard debris
in oil paintings on steel. Opening on First Friday November 7, 2014 5-9 pm
