Sparkling lights, holiday decorations, and colorful
adornments come to mind during the month of December. Amiro Art & Found will be celebrating the
holiday season with a variety of unique decorations during the December 6th
First Friday Art Walk. Tis the Season to Sparkle
is a spectacular showcase of original wearable art by ten designers of
jewelry. Amiro is located at 9C Aviles
Street on the nation’s oldest street and will be open from 5:00p.m. to 9:00
p.m. during Art Walk. Light libations
and snacks will be served.
Tis
the Season to Sparkle will feature the jewelry creations of Jan
Master, Marcia Myrick Siany, Laurel Baker, Ginny Bullard, Gloria Danvers,
Dexter McDaniel, Doni Dowie, Lori Hammer, Sheila Lewis, Jack Merwin,. Their
designs use a variety of techniques and materials that range from tradition
metals and gemstones to the most unexpected of recycled materials. The vast array of differing styles and techniques
offer something for everyone.
Amiro Art & Found offers a unique collection of new
and vintage items that includes fine art, folk art, and everything in between
filling the gallery with an eclectic and colorful array of jewelry, mosaic
creations, pottery, sculpture, vintage finds, paintings, and mixed media
collages.
