Flagler Student Art at Amiro During May 3 First Friday Art Walk

Flagler College Student Art Show Opens at Amiro Art & Found on May 3 During First Friday Art Walk

Is it a student take-over? Not at all, Amiro Art & Found has graciously invited 15 Flagler College students to display their artwork from 5:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. during the May 3 First Friday Art Walk.  Included will be student artists: Grace Shipman, Brielle Jenkins, Sean Cusick, Stephanie Marotta, Maja Jydbom, Pernilla Stellgren, Gabrielle Hekhuis, Chryssha Guidry, Douglas Stearns, Eileen Pagan, Rachel De Cuba, Andrew Hollingsworth, Alex Jackman, Alexander McNutt, and Camille Seiler. The   artwork will include their sculptures, jewelry, photography and paintings.
Amiro Art & Found is located at 9C Aviles Street. The gallery offers the diverse artwork of a core group of artists, Ginny Bullard, Estella Fransbergen, Deane Kellogg, Wendy Mandel McDaniel, Jan Tomlinson Master, and Marcia Myrick Siany as well as the work of an evolving roster of guest artists. The ever changing artwork fills the gallery with an eclectic and colorful array of jewelry, mosaic creations, pottery, sculpture, vintage finds, paintings, and mixed media collages.
Amiro Art & Found is open Thursday through Monday from 11a.m. to 5p.m.with extended hours on Fridays and Saturdays until 7:00p.m. and during  First Friday Art Walks, until 9:00p.m. Amiro also offers a special gift registry for Bridal parties and other celebrations. The gallery will also be open until 9:00p.m. during Romanza  on Aviles Street. The Aviles Street Merchant’s Association sponsor special events including exhibitions at the galleries, dining al fresco, and music on the street.
